YOUR GUIDE TO GUA SHA - and how to get the most out of the beautiful stones
Do you dream of more glowing, firm skin? Then we have the perfect tool for you! A facial massage with our Gua Sha tools is fantastic for giving the skin glow, increased uniformity and making the skin tighter and firmer.
Gua Sha originates from China and is a traditional healing tool - and has been used for thousands of years. So it is not without reason that Gua Sha has also arrived in our part of the world!
By using a Gua Sha stone you stimulate the skin's blood flow and collagen production increases. It gives you even more beautiful skin with lots of glow.
Besides, it's absolutely fantastic to give yourself a facial massage as self-indulgence a few times a week.

Our Guide to Gua Sha Facial Massage
We have created four Gua Sha stones that you can use for the perfect facial massage. We recommend using your Gua Sha in combination with our Deluxe Facial Oil. You will find our Gua Sha in four different versions – in both white jade and rose quartz. We recommend that you do it 2-3 times a week.
-
Start by cleansing your skin with Soft Cleansing Foam, so that your skin is free of the day's makeup and dirt. Apply a few drops of Deluxe Facial Oil until your skin feels oiled, so the Gua Sha stone can better glide over the skin.
-
Use gentle upward strokes, starting from the lower part of the face and working your way up with the smooth side of your Gua Sha. Start from the center of the face and work towards the hairline. Repeat each lane 5-10 times. See the image below as inspiration.
-
On the jaw line, by the eyebrow and under the eye, you can advantageously use the notch in the Gua Sha stone - or the narrow side of our Sculpt stone.
- Finish with the neck, where you use gentle upward strokes.
Good tips before starting a Gua Sha massage
Here are some good tips for those of you who want to start using a Gua Sha stone!
- Always remember to clean your Gua Sha stone before and after use with a mild soap. That way, you are sure that your tool is always completely clean.
- Only use Gua Sha on clean and balanced skin – and never on skin that seems irritated or has breakouts.
- Also remember to keep your Gua Sha flat against the skin and use gentle pressure when working with the massage. Let the stone do the work.
Your skin is never meant to be irritated or warm from the work - but you will probably experience some redness after the massage. The most important thing to remember is that it should feel comfortable when you use a Gua Sha on your face.
