Five tips for a routine your skin will thank you for - and that you will LOVE

We probably all know that it can sometimes be difficult to set aside time in the evening for the big skin care routine. But it doesn't actually have to be that difficult!

In order to have a good basic skin care routine, it is basically about using good but few products that contain the right ingredients. Many different ingredients can give the skin's surface a glow and make it fine and even, but the ingredients that are able to penetrate the skin and thus make a real difference are incredibly few.

If you follow these 5 tips, you are already well on your way to even more beautiful skin.

1. Start each day and end each evening by cleansing your skin. It is the best way to ensure that your skin is clean and ready to take on the rest of the products in your routine effectively.

2. Know your skin! Do you have dry, sensitive, oily, greasy or perhaps mature skin? It is important to know before you throw yourself into a routine that may not suit you at all. Dry skin generally requires more moisture, whereas oily skin can better tolerate being exfoliated a little more often.

3. Protect your skin with antioxidants from your skincare. In skin care, it is, for example, Vitamins A, C and E that protect against free radicals such as polluted air, cigarette smoke or the sun's rays. If you want to eat for the good antioxidants, then berries are really good. So get started with the healthy blueberries, raspberries and blackberries!

4. NEVER forget to use a good moisturizer – whether your skin is dry, oily or combination. A moisturizer helps to maintain a good moisture balance, which is absolutely essential for the health of your skin. It is actually also the first step in preventing wrinkles.

5. Finally, remember to get your 7-8 hours of sleep every night – and a lot of water. Drink between 1.5 and 2 liters of water per day. In this way, you set the best conditions for healthy skin from the inside.
